The Coptic Orthodox community in Townsville is growing rapidly every year and there are many initiatives the church would like to undertake such as renovating our church to better accommodate the needs of our rapidly growing congregation, including nearly 100 youth, as well as permanently relocating a priest and his family to Townsville, among several other services.
At present, we do not have the funds or resources necessary to achieve our goals and look after our Coptic community for many generations to come.
