Welcome to St. Mary and St. George Coptic Orthodox Church in Townsville, QLD; the first-ever Coptic church in Townsville!
Our church had its humble beginnings in 2010 with just a single student and has been growing rapidly ever since.
As of 2022, we have a congregation of over 100 people.
Orthodoxy is not a denomination of Christianity but rather is pre-denominational in that it existed before the splits of Christianity; Orthodox Christians are the original Christians!
